After your examination you can sit down in the post-examination room where you will join any friends or family who came with you.
Now you will be able to get a shower, and there will be clean clothes available for you if you haven’t brought any with you.
After the examination we can also provide hot food if you would like some and more refreshments.
It is after the examination that your care plan will be written, this will include details of any referrals for support after you leave SAFE Place such as seeing an ISVA or a visit to a Genito-Urinary Medicine Clinic.
Emergency contraception and vaccinations will also be discussed with you.
